The Neighborhood Development Plan

You folks have blown our initial plans out of the water! From funding in 37 minutes to the continued rate of new pledges coming in, we have frankly been overwhelmed and humbled by your support.

Due to licensing and distribution agreements, we have a limited number of things we can use as stretch goals. Many of these take the form of Add-Ons rather than strict upgrades.

We believe it makes for a more engaging campaign for those limited SGs to be revealed as we go rather than all at once.

To be clear, this was our plan before the campaign even started, before we saw the Day 1 pledge levels, as a way to keep people engaged in this community and strengthen it.

We look forward to continuing to reveal new goals as the campaign continues and building this community with all of you and anyone else who deems it worthy to join us as we go.

The plan’s intent is to allow backers to unlock more options for the things they want to purchase. We want people to pledge for the items they want to buy to add to their enjoyment of this amazing game.

Intern Pledge Level

This pledge level was added just a day before launch and frankly, we mis-handled it.

The Thematic Neighborhood refill pads were intended to be revealed one-at-a-time as SGs for add-ons as we went. When we decided to add them as their own pledge level we did so hastily and created confusion, both through the graphics we used and the wording throughout the Campaign page.

Please forgive us this mistake and help us to make sure it is clear moving forward.

The Community

We believe in building community. Not only flip-and-fill neighborhoods, but a real community of people who love games! That said, we are reading and responding to comments as quickly and thoroughly as we can. We are thankful to have backers who are invested in this project and just want to see it be the best it can be, like we do. We appreciate both your accolades and constructive criticisms, listening to both equally and using them to improve this campaign.

WOW!!  This campaign has blown us away!  We're already about to smash through our first Day 2 stretch goal, wooden card holders from our friends at DOG MIGHT GAMES!

 AND!!  Something we've seen a lot of backers asking about and we're happy to say we can deliver at our second stretch goal of the day, DOUBLE SIDED DRY ERASE SHEETS!

Hello Architects! 

You incredible backers have crushed our day 1 stretch goals. You've created so much noise about this campaign that it's begun to attract... The Zombie Horde!!!

You're going to have to protect the next Thematic Neighborhood from a zombie invasion while building your community. Will you be able to survive the zombie horde? More info, rules and the full reveal are on their way. Don't FLIP... We'll FILL you in Soon.

You've also unlocked the incredible New Solo Mode

Designed by Alexis Allard the new solo mode introduces a brand new scaleable AI to play against. We can't wait to reveal more info about it, but we think it deserves its own update so stay tuned! 

Additionally we have 3 City plans revealed for the Halloween Score Sheet!

You can choose to swap 1, 2 or all the city plans with these when playing with the Halloween Score sheet!

1) Acquire 7 candies
2) Get all the ghosts on the 3rd street
3) Create three 3-house estates with 1 ghost and 1 candy in each.

Last but not least, you've unlocked Dry Erase Boards as an Add-on! 

 These are starting off in packs of 4 but we have some additional options planned. ;)

Wow! What an amazing welcome to Kickstarter you all gave us today. Funding so quickly exceeded all of our expectations! We could barely have played a game of Welcome To... in the time you amazing folks got us to 100%!! We have worked so hard to bring this campaign to life, it is incredible to know it resonated so strongly with everyone!
