Doomsday is upon us, Backers!

Welcome To... Doomsday!
In Doomsday players are trying to save as many people as possible from the impending nuclear destruction. Every time you build a house with a bunker you also write the number in the bunker space. That's how many people you can save in that bunker. At the end of the game you'll add up all the people you have saved on each street. Whoever saves the most per street will earn an additional 10 points!
But wait, you can give peace a chance! The player who saves the least total people on all streets combines earns 10 points as well for preparing for a peaceful future...
At the end of the game add up all bunkers on each street and write the number in the space to the right of each street. Then add the total of all streets and write that number in the flower power box to the left of the streets. Then if you've save the most people on a certain street you'll check the box in the score section. Or if you saved the least total, you'll check the flower power box!
Be the most prepared architect to save humanity while building your neighborhood!
Add on Shipping
A lot of you have expressed concern about add on shipping. Because of the complexity of the add ons and shipping weight it took us a while to come up with a clear and simple explanation. Instead of doing weight based we're going to do per item shipping and the first item to most major locations will be free!
Here's an example of the shipping table:
This may be subject to some minor changes especially in the 6+ add on field. However, we still want to subsidize that cost for you as much as possible. We're confident this is a good solution.
For example if you're pledging at the Intern tier, and want to add on the base game it would be free shipping.
For the rest of the world we're also still subsidizing the cost. Because of the large difference in price when you add a lot of additional weight we have to charge something even for the first add on.
Hopefully this clears everything up!

When we started out, we hoped this would fund and be successful, but never imagined the level to which you all have pushed this campaign.
Our mission with Deep Water since day 1 has been and continues to be to help spread the joy of gaming. We currently do this with our slate of 60+ conventions a year and friendly local game store outreach. You have all become a vital part of Deep Water’s mission, more so than we ever expected.
That said, we listened and discussed and toiled and concocted what we think will be an outrageous final stretch goal to try and achieve
The Big One
Y'all have literally been asking for this since day 1! If we can reach or exceed 5,000 backers and/or $225,000 all pledges over $45 will be shipped in an upgraded custom mailer box large enough to store…
1 base game
4 thematic pads
8 dry erase sheets
1 wooden card tray
1 playmat
and more!
If we hit BOTH, we will give everyone 4 extra dry erase sheets (so each backer will get eight). We honestly hadn’t planned to do this, but the support and the excitement you all have shown for this project has made us reach for the stars with something extra special!
Who will get this stretch goal? Anyone who is pledging $45 or more in any combination of rewards and addons NOT including shipping.Here are some examples.
Example 1: STARTER HOME Pledge ($25) + 2 Thematic Score Pads ($20) + Shipping ($any) = Upgraded Mailer Storage Box! Example 2: INTERN ($29) + Worldwide Shipping ($25) = Does NOT qualify for Upgraded Mailer Storage Box.
What started us down this road was that Nolan loves several mailer boxes he got from previous campaigns years ago and still uses them today to store extra game components.

The Final Days
...of this campaign are upon us and we continue to be obliterated by the fantastic support received by all of you during this campaign!
We know that we have not been all things to all backers, but we have listened and responded as often as possible. Thank you for all of your suggestions, encouragements, emergency alerts, etc… and for your continued interest in and support of Deep Water Games!
Final Stretch Goal
As you read this, we are verifying the details on our final stretch goalfor this campaign.
Yes! You read that correctly, you astounding architects have blasted through all the stretch goals and rewards we had conceived and then proceeded to lay waste to our projections on the pledge levels for this campaign!
Our final stretch goal will be sky high! We hope it will be a worthwhile reward for all of you to get behind and push across the finish line!
Also, in tomorrow’s update we will also be revealing the final Thematic Neighborhood pack! Get ready because, as we've hinted at not-so-subtly in this update, what is incoming will leave you blown away!

We Set 'em Up, You Knock 'em Down!
We continue to be humbled and impressed by the new daily pledges. Yesterday (day 9/20) was our 4th best day! You all pushed us right over our latest Stretch Goal and we are continuing to work hard with our partners to bring you more value-added Goals to keep this train a-rolling!
We only ask for your patience as we sort out the details. If you are going to Grand Rapids Comic Con please stop booth 603 and say hi to Nolan! Also, bug him about getting those stretch goal graphics done ;)

We’ve winter wonders to woo windswept wanderers of the world wide web today! Your patience has paid off as our artists and designers have worked tirelessly to improve and perfect this thematic winter neighborhood.
Winter Rules: The goal is to make the longest line of consecutive numbers in each street. At the end of the game, draw a string of lights connecting all consecutive numbers in a street. You score as many points as you have houses connected.
